Dennis O'Rorke (captain), Meysey Thompson, E. C. Williamson, and T. O'Sullivan. During the. first spell of twenty minutes the Canterbury team ran through their opponents, Arthur Rhodes scoring • two goals, and Bennett and Heaton Rhodes each scoring one. The Auckland team played a better game during the next two spells. O'Rorke especially played a brilliant game, aud two runs of his were worth going a long way to see. T. C. Williamson also played well for Auckland during the-- last spell. Williamson, O'Horke, Bennetts, and Heaton Rhodes all scored during the last spell, so the game ended ih favor of Canterbury by six goals to two.

The Canterbury team play the officers of the fleet on Friday afternoon, and on Saturday a very good programme of naval sports is arranged.
