DUNEDIN, February 5.
It is an evidence of returning confidence in the colony that several persons who recently came here from Australia are advertising in the daily papers asking for purchasers of return tickets for Melbourne. I understand that the return half of saloon or steerage passages for the otber side can be bought for a mere song. This fact is worth recording when we recollect that little better than a year ago the cry of the exodus was being constantly paraded in some of the public prints.
