HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

President, Mr T. H. Anson; Hon. Treasurer, Mr J. Turner; Hon. Secretary, Mr Q. K. Rjbertaon. The annual exhibition under the auspices of the Courtenay Horticultural Society was held yesterday, in connection with the Agricultural Show. The exhibits were staged in a large tent, but could not be displayed to advantage on account of the wet. Some very fair pot plants were shown, and there was an excellent show of vegetables and fruit. The chief prize takers were Messrs G. R. Robertson, J. Turner, G. Grant, McDougall, and Moore. The judges were Messrs Turner, H.
