Quotations for beef remain unchanged. Received October -Sth. US e_a_ Melbourne, Ootober 25. The third sale of the present series of wool auctions took plane to-day. The attendance was large, and competition was animated. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company sold 4000 bales, the following being top prices:—Greasy merino Is l&d, pieces lOfd, lambs Is lfd, crossbreds Is OJd.
