LAND BOARD.
An ordinary meeting of the Canterbury Land Board was held on Thursday, when there were present—Messrs J« H. Bakei (Chief Commissioner), D. McMillan. A. C. Wilson, and W. Kitson. Reserve 206, mouth of the Selwyn, was sold for cash under the provision* of section 95 of the Land Act, to Mr John Coe. Section 33904, in the Spaxton district, was sold on deferred payments to Chris. Grieve. The Board decided, undei section 169 of the Land Act, to recommend that the following runs, not sold in May and June last, should be offered by auction about the middle of November, viz. :— Run 87, Ben Ohau; 88, Rhoboro Downs: and 89, Glentanner, Timaru district, at i reduced upset; and 100, Blackford; 149, Woodstock; and 147, Manuka Point, in l<orth Canterbury, also at a reduced rental. The Rangers' reports on perpetual lease sections were handed in, and action ordered to be taken.
