MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close for the following places as under, anbjeet to the necessary alterations/ :— FRIDAY, JULY 12. For Northern Ports, per lonic, at 8.20 a,m.: late fee letters, 8.30 a.m.; guard's van, 9.5 a.m. train. ■ For Timaru, per Tekapo, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.20 p.m.: guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and West Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c, &c, per Takapuna, as follows :—Ordinary letters, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; books and newspapers, at 7.30 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; money orders, at 4 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on August 19th. SATURDAY, JULY 13. For Greymouth (direct), per Rosamond, at 9.50 a.m.; late fee letters, 10 a.m. ; guard's van, 10.35 a.m. train. For Westport (direct), per Pukaki, at 8 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train.
