There was a full meeting of the Stock Committee held this morning. The Hon. .Mr A eland was elected Chairman of the Legislative Council Stock Committee and Mr Lance* Chairman of the House Committee. Subsequently a meeting of the Joint Committees was held, when it wae resolved that various important papers; relating to stock and rabbits should be asked for. , The Hon. Mr. Eichardson promised' that these would be supplied in due course.
