In the Legislative Council yesterday the Church Property Trust of Canterbury Act, 1879, Amendment -Bill, was read a third time and passed. The Attorney-General introduced the Canterbury Society of Arts Eeserves Bill, and after some formal business the Council adjourned at 3.45 p.m. till to-dayi J-. ,/i | •/.;' :■..',' In the House of Representatives Mr Fisher said that the Gasparini correspondence had been printed at the request of Sir W.
