GREENDALE.
The monthly meeting of the Greendafo School Committee was held on FridaJ evening. Present—Messrs F. W. Adams (Chairman). "H." Holland, T. E. Jarman and C. Budd. The master reported that there were seventy-one names on the roll, and that the average for last quarter had been 54.5; also that nine scholars had not attended half the number of times the school had been open during the quarter. The Inspector's casual visit report *vac received and read. It was resolved that a change of reading books In Standard I. be approved of. The master suggested that the school be closed at 3 o'clock for the next six weeks or so. Agreed to. It was resolved to apply to the Board for a porch to the masters house. Afterpassing accounts, the Committee adjourned.
