FELICITY.
Oh,*why is my heart overbounding with Witfpteasure my feelings aure full, At peace with the world my time I employ In making all happy the rule. Mv wife and her children united in love, Their home is a haven of rest. A ray of bright glory descends from above With peace and sweet calm fills my breast.
Contented with blessings enjoyed by us all, The present we long to extend; All around smiles benignly, the great and the small, Each phase is a joy without end. The rays of the sun dancing gaily and bright. , . Sweet no were expand to bis call; All Nature around is a picture of Light, With rapture absorb , ! by us all. Away then with Sorrow; kind Providence give That peace as a heavenly rest Through many long years may we happily live, The future- be joyous and Meet.
