REINFORCEMENTS FOR ASSOUAN. IPBP PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Received July Bth, 10 p.m. Caibo, July 7. Five hundred of the Irish Rifles have been sent to Assouan in order to to strengthen the garrison there. The dervishes, who are threatening the position, have been largely reinforced.
