In* veroargill, was burnt down to-night, Th,e cause of the fire is eupposed to be a defeat in the chimney, as when the broken open it was found, that the lining over the mantel, about 10ft from the Jfjoor, was blazing. No water waai available, or the school might have been saved* •In common with the State schools, it was not insured, and will cost £400 to replace. > : ■»
