ALFORD FOREST.
At the annual meeting for election of School Committee, at which seventeen householders were present, the retiring Chairman, Mr W. T. Chapman, read the report of attendances of the late Committee, and also stated the credit balance amounted to £3 16s lOd. The following were elected the new Committee: —Messrs P. Tisch, John Moore, A. W. Smith, T. Fagan, S. Doak, M. Fagan, and B. Evans. At tbe subsequent meeting of the Committee Mr Michael Fagan was voted to the chair and Mr A. W. Smith was elected Treasurer.
