THE SPRINGBANK ENCAMPMENT.
Despite the heavy rain on Friday night, the camping ground for the troops for the Easter operations was on Saturday a» dry as a bone. After the rain it may be fairly anticipated that the weather will remain Settled, and that there is every prospect of splendid weather for the assembling of the troops, amid whom there ie a high degree of enthusiasm over camp matters. The tents will be pitched to-morrow (Tuesday) for the fatigue parties, and arrangements made for the arrival of the forces on Thursday night. Sprtnprbank is eight and a half miles from Bangiora. The canvas dwellings will be erected in the best place it ie possible to imagine for conveniences. Firewood and water will be equally close at hand.
