-Messrs Bennetts Bros, report on the above as follows:—We offered a large entry of grain, oats, barley, peas, onions, grass seed, &c, to a good attendance of buyers. _ -Wheatr—The market is very unsteady, and buyei_i were very reluctant to do business, and values showed a considerable falling off. -We passed all our prime Wheat. We sold several lines of seconds ditto up to 3s sd. Oats—We sold a line of prime duns at 3s per bushel; sparrow-bills to 2s 9d. Barley—Two large lines at 3s Id to 3s 3d, seconds ditto ab 2s Sd. '■■ Peas—A "lino o£ feed ditto at 8s 3d per bushel. Onions—A line of very medium at £5 10s per ton.

-Messrs Matsoi. and Co. offered a large cataloguebf grain on Saturday. There wasa -fair attendance, but there was little competition for first-class milling wheat, and barley was also alack t»f sale at the prices asked. Seconds milling wheat brought up to 3s 6d per bushel, and chick wheat from 2s 9d to 3s 3d; feed oats ruled at from' 2s 7d to 2s 9d; farmers" dressed ryegrass from 2s 9d to 3s 3d ; and second-class cocksfoot sold at 2Jd per lb.
