SHIPPING DISASTERS.

News from Noumea states that the local steamer Caledonian has been wrecked in a hurricane, and one passenger drowned. The Magura, which left Newcastle in January, with coal for Noumea, is believed to have foundered with all hands. Thursday Island, March 25. The British India Company's steamer. Buncoora, laden with coal for Singapore, ran ashore on Angelica Reef, nearßatavia. She was towed off, but has not since been reported, and it is -Sared she has foundered.
