*» ■ CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, March 16. [Before R. Westenra, N. K. Bowden, and R. Beattie, Esqs.] Drunkenness. — Wm. McCullagh, Dorothy Elderkin, and Geo. Palmer weteach fined 10s, or in default the usual alternatives. Probation.—R. McMillan, the youth who at a previous sitting had been convicted of obtaining from P. Cairns, a jockey suit valued at £5 10s, was again brought up, and on the favorable report of the Probation Officer was released on - three months' probation, being ordered at the same time to pay 12s, the cost of the proceedings.
