NEW PLYMOUTH IRONWORKS
' • » '"' [PSSSS ASSOCIATION TSLBORAM.] NEW PLYMOUTH, March 14. The Henni Ironworks had a successful tapping this evening at 6 o'clock, when the metal ran freely into the pig-beds, and some good pigs were obtained. The furnace is in capital order and working splendidly, and there is every indication of a most successful trial of the old field. The proprietor intends keeping the furnace going for a month, and then will proceed to London with the metal to ascertain its real market value. He has spent a great deal of money in the venture, and there is now every prospect of his obtaining adequate returns.
