(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! Received March 14th, 1 p.m. ALLEGED WHOLESAI.E PERSONATION. Sydney, March 14. A man who was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment for personation has made a confession in writing showing there was a widespread conspiracy to personate voters at the recent elections. He implicates twenty-four other people. CONFESSION OF MURDER. A man named Davis has surrendered himself to the police at Broken Hill, and confessed that he poisoned a man named George eighteen months ago. QUEEN'S JUBILEE FUND. The Queen's Jubilee Fund has reached £16,000 A Bill will be introduced in Parliament to devote the money to the relief of women in distress, and a Council of twenty women will be appointed to control the fund. SIR SOMERS VINE. Brisbane, March 14. Sir R. Somers Vine is actively engaged on his mission to explain to the people of the colonies the objects and aims of the Imperial Institute. He states the Prince of Wales desired him to thank the colonies for their munificent contribution to the Institute.
