The total quantity of wheat and s flour, afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,080,000 quarters, and for the Continent 452,000 quarters. The American visible wheat supply is 32,000,000 bushels. , New Zealand frozen mutton is looted at 4 l-sd. 1 Leather—Best sides, 9d to 9£d. Shares—New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, £>Z; New Zealand Trust and Loan Company, ■m - Copper—Market is extremely depressed. Present quotations for Chili bare, £69 ss. Received March 7th, 1.23 p.m. London, March 7. One hnndred and thirty-3ix head of tattle arrived from Wellington yesterday by the steamer Taupo. Of the 'total shipment twenty were lost on the voyage. The remainder were sold at an average of £8 12s per head. The experiment of the shipment is not re- ' yarded as a success. Received March 7th, 1.40 p.m. Sydney, March 7. Potatoes, Circular Heads, £6 10s : , New Zealand, £6 ; onions, Victorian, £11 to £11 10s; maize, new 3s 6d, old 3s 10d, weevily 2s 6d. Oat market ; doll, 2s 6d to 3s; there are large stocks on hand. Bran, Is 7d. Pollard is •carce, and is quoted at Iβ Id to Is Wheat, chick feed, 3s to 3s 6d; nulling, ss. For flour there is an increasing demand, and prices are advancing, roller made £11 5s to £13, stone made £11 to £12. Peas, 4s 6d to 4s 9d; oatmeal, £18; chaff, NeT Zealand, £6; butter, locally made 10d to Is Id, dairy made Is to Is 3d, factory imported 7d to 10d; cheese, 3d to 6d, . New Zealand 6d to 7d ; bacon, New Zealand 9d to 10d; hams, 10d to lid. ' Melboukne, March 7. i There is a brisk demand for wheat «t 5s 3id for prime sorts; flour, roller made, £12 10s; oats have improved, for stout 3s ll|d, seed 4s B£d; barley, Cape 3e sd, malting 3s 6d; maize, 4s Id to 4s 3d; bran, Is Id; pollard. Adelaide, March 7. Wheat is firm foi shipping lots, ss, cut buyers hold off Farmers' lots at Port Adelaide 4s Bd, for outports 4s 6d to 4s 6£d; flour, roller-made, £11 10s ; bran Is, pollard Is Id. The potato market is glutted. The price is £5 10s per ton. Received March Sto, 1.15 a.m. Melbourne, March 6. Fifteen hundred bags of wheat were told to-day at 5e 3£d to 5s 4d. London, March C. The brokers have conceded half a crown decrease in'jfreights when loading ships despatched by the Shippers' Committee. It is stated a Hamburg firm » quoting freight at £1.
