MAORI FOOTBALLERS.
[PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received March 6th, 1.15 p.m. LONDON, March 5. The Maori footballers played a game at Oldhain, Lancashire, to-day, and were defeated by a goal and three tries to nil. Becelved March 7th, 1.25 ajn. LONDON, March 6. The Maori Football team beat Halifax by a goal and 3 cries to nil. [Number of matches played to date, 63. Maoris—Won, 39; lost, 19; drawn, 4. Scores—Maoris, 74 goals, 103 tries; against 41 goals, 66 tries.)
