The Orlando remained in the roadstead all day, and was visited by about a thousand townspeople, the weather being sclendid and sea calm. The Admiral inspected the harbor works, and also went up to the Denniston coal mine. He was entertained at luncheon, and went aboard, the flagship at 7 p.m. The Orlando then sailed direct to the Sounds.
