LODGE MEETINGS.
The fortnightly meeting of the Lodge, No. &>, L0.0.F. was held on Wednesday evening in the Orange Hall, and after the usual routine business was finished the installation of the officers took place. The D.D.G.M. Bro. Butler, assisted byßros. P.G.s McKnight and White installed the followiug officers :—N.G., Bro. Donaldson : V.G.. Bro. Newman ; Secretary, Bro. Sourlay (re-elected); Treasurer end Warden, Bro. Whire, jun.; 0.G., Bro. Thompson ; 1.G., Bro, Dilien: Conductor, Bro. Groves, P.G.; R. 5. to N.G., Bro. Hartle; L.S. toN.G. Bro. Alston ; R.S. to V.G., Bro. McGregor ; L.S. to \.G., Bro. Waedner; R.S.S., Bro. McKnight, P.G.; L.S.S., Bro. Halloway. The D.D.G.M. congratulated the lodge m the progress it has made both in respect to its membership and financial position, and after a vote of thanks having been given to the D.D.G.M. for having conducted the mony, the lodge closed in due form at lu.lo The usual fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held on Wednesday evening. The attendance of members was only moderate, probably owing to the harvest operations just commencing. One candidate was initiated, and the usual routine business got-through satisfactorily. P.P.G.M. Bro. T. Kent, on behalf of the members of the Lodge, then presented P.G. Bro.W. H. Comerford with a handsome certificate of merit, accompanying the presentation with a few well chosen remarks. Bro. Comerford snitably acknowledged the gift, and thanked the brethren for their kind expressions ot good will. The P.S. notified the Lodge that owing to some unforeseen engagement of the Auditors, those officers had not yet been able to attend to audit the books, &c, consequently he was not then in a position to lay the balance-sheet before the Lodge that evening, as promised, but he hoped to do so next Lodge night. The Sons and Daughters of Temperance, Excelsior Division, No. 21, met on Monday evening, January 21st. Ordinary business disposed of, the officers' report was received. The adult division has lost thirteen members (who have opened a new division in Colombo road), leaving thirtyfour on the books. The juveniles are working and increasing in numbers. The G Division officer then installed the officers elected at the last meeting for the ensuing six months:—Bro. F. S. Parker, W.P.; Bro. E. Marshall, W.A.; Bro. W. Harrison, R.S.; Bro. J. Ellbrd, A.R.S.; Bro. C. Goodsall, F.S.; Bro. T. Menzies, Treasurer; Bro. J. Taylor, Chaplain; Bro. T. Cutler, Conductor: Bro. T. Smart, O. Conductor; Bro. W. Osborn, I. Sentinel. Bro. Joseph Hill was elected Outside Sentinel. The W.P. entering upon his new duties thanked the division for electIng him to fill the highest office in division, calling upon each officer to aid him in conducting the business of the division. The division closed in due form by Bro. Parker, W.P.
