The British Consul at Zanzibar has discovered IeOO runaway slaves, who had taken shelter with the English Mieeioft in the Pangamui district. Mr George Mackenzie visited the Mission in the British interests, paid the ransoms of the ifunawajte, »nd ie devising measures to provide for the slaves. It is reported that seven slavers have been captured off the coast. Turkey has agreed to co-operate with Germany and England in blockading the coast.
