LINCOLN COLLEGE v. PREBBLETON.
Played on the ground of the latter on the 24th, and resulted in a win for the College by 40 runs on the first innings. As the College team, owing to the watery aspect of the weather, did not arrive till past noon, play was not begun until an excellent lunch/provided by the local men, had been discussed. Scores —Lincoln College, 61; Prebbleton, 21 and 78.' For the College J. Berney made (27), while E. Stanford and W. Prebble batted well for Prebbleton, the former making 38 and the latter 14 (not out) in the second innings. :...-.
