The Assembly has reinserted the limitation of one Chinaman for every five hundred tons of shipping, which was altered by the Council. The Bill is not to come' into force until Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales have passed similar measures. BBI3BANE, November 1. The Council has passed the Chinese BilL Reoeived November 2nd. 1.10 a.m. Melbocknk, November 1. Damages have been awarded of £150 and costs in the case of Ah Foy against the Collector of Customs.
