Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :— TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30. For Otago, per Tarawera, at 11.20 a.m.; late fee letters, IL3O a.m.; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Otago, per Arawa, at 7 p.m.; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Takapuna, at 7 p.m.; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3L For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, &c, (specially addressed per Orient steamer only), and Australian Colonies, per express (to connect with Tarawera), at 7.30 a.m. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and West Indies (via San Francisco), Cape of Good Hope, Sandwich Islands and Fiji, Northern Forts of New Zealand, &c., per s.s. Rotorua, as follows:—Ordinary letters, at 7 p.m.; late fee letters, 7.15 p.m.; books and newspapers, 6.30 p.m.; money orders, at 4 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on December 10th.
