DUNEDIN, October 28. On Saturday afternoon William McLauchlan, residing at St John's Wood j YaJJey, committed suicide by hanging himself. While his wife was absent he appears to hare thrown a rope over the parlor door and making a noose on the other side hanged himself. Hβ was in very well to-do circumstances, owning a good deal of property at Port Chalmers, bat he had goffered some losses, and these hare worried him greatly. He leaves a
