TEMUKA.
The regular monthly meeting of the Temuka School Committee was held on Tuesday. Present — Messrs Hayhurat (Chairman), Blyth, Allan, Winning, Gray, and Brown. The Headmaster's report was received. The attendance for the month was:—Boya, 139.1; girls, 110.5; total, 249.6. Highest attendance —Boys, 163; girls, 133; total, 296. The Headmaster was requested to furnish a list of children habitually absent from school, with a view of the compulsory clauses of the Act being enforced. Accounts to the amount of JBS were passed for payment. Mr Winning ▼as appointed risitor for the month. The meeting then terminated.
