Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :— FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21. For Northern Porte and Greymouth, per Koranui, at 12.30 p.m.; late fee letters, 12.45 p.m.; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Greymouth, per Rosamond, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Westport, per Orowaitl, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Kaikoura, per Napier at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22. For Northern Ports, per Rotorua, at 7 p.m. ; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train.
Note. —Mails for offices on the Malvern and Whitecliffs railway lines will hereafter close at 3.45 p.m. each Monday and Thursday.
