WEDNE3DAT. Fall entries of stock. Weather beautifully fine; hardly an average attendance bf buyers. Fat Cattle.—A fairly heavy entry, quality aU round very good, a few lines exceptionally so. Demand somewhat brisker than of late, though it slackened off towards the finish, values all round show a little improvement, viz., for prunest quality up to 21s per 1001b down to 17s, as the quality varied, Steers sold at from £715s to £10 for heavy weights, £415s to £6 for light and medium; a line of very prime young cows sold at from £8 5s to £9; other lines of cows and heifers, £4 2s Od to £5 15s. There — —s a—i absence of any demand for export, hot buyers for grazing and shearing helped the market materially; values on the whole 'were about on a par with last week's market; but irregular. The primest crossbreds sold at from 15s 6d to ISs per head, lighter —weights 13s to 14s 6_. Alerino wethers from 10s Id to 16s, being at from 2Jd to 3d per lb, according to the quality. Stoke Sheep.—Only a few lines yarded, and good enouiry shown. Late values being uualtered. Hoggets sold up to 10s Id, ewes, in lamb, 10s 9d. Messrs Miles and Co- (per J. T, Ford) sold for a client 350 4 and 6-fcooth ewes, small and rather low in condition, at 10s 9d. Messrs Bennetts Bros, sold a line of hoggets at 8s 7d, another line at 9s, and another line at 10s Id.

Pigs. —A moderate entry, and a keen demand; late values being quite upheld, baconers sold at from 35s to 4tfs. porkers, 20a to 325; stores, 10s o 18s 6d, being from 3d to 3_d Per lb according to weights and quality.
