TO THE EDITOR OF THB PRESS, Sib,—From your advertising columns it may bo seen " that Saturday return tickets to Christchurch will be issued at Culverden and intermediate stations from the Sth to the llth November, available for return up to November 21st;" but on the llth jJovember (Show day) tickets will be issued at stations " north ot Waikari, available for return same day," Would there be any unnecessary expenditure or deficit in the finances of the Railway Department if return tickets issued on the llth November were available for return on the 12th or 14th November, or even up to November 21st? Such an alteration in the fares would be received with great satisfaction and much more patronage than otherwise. Trusting an alteration will be made,— I am, &c, C-XV_-_D__..
