BANQUET TO AN AGENTGENERAL.
The Agents-General intend to give a banquet to Mr Murray-Smith. V A statement which has been published in the " City Preae," to the effect that the Gillies Coalition Ministry had resigned, has been corrected by Mr Murrey Smith. Mr Murray South has protested against Sir R CoaUffe Owen's refusal to allow the sale of colonial wines at the Indian and Colonial Exhibition, except through Meesrs Spiers and Ponds, the well-known caterers.
