CRICKET.
INTEBPBOVINeiAL CBICKET MATCH.
A letter has been received from the Otago Association, to the effect that they are unable to send an eleven to play the return match this month, as previously arranged, bnt will do so in March. No dates are mentioned, but it will probably be about the middle of the month. Practices for our own players, which have been going on' vigorously in anticipation of the match taking place next week, will be discontinued until Monday, Ist March.
The following will play for the TJ.C.C.C, again st the second eleven of the Addington, on the TJ.C.C.C. ground—Burgess, Harvey, Hodgson, Longden' (Captain), H. Wood, McDonald, Ward, Pilbrow, Smith, Young, Curry; and the following will play for the TJ.C.C.C, against the second of Christ's College—A. G. L'ox (Captain), B. Hamilion, 3. Tait, Harris, Temple, Field, Todd, McGill, Wilkinson, Preston, W.Tait. The following will play for the Papanui against the Kaiapoi C.C, at 2.50 p m., on Saturday, at Papanui- C. A. Calvert, J. B. and W. J. Cresswell, Fowler, Grier, Hull, arose, Leach, PhQpott. and Beese. The following will represent the St. Albans C.C in their matches on Saturday next, at 2.Bo:—Against fcHnmore, on the ground of the former—Colville (_, Smith (3, Batha—ay, Dickenson, Lloyd, G. Lucas, ensack, Dufeu; emergency, C. Ford. Against Woolston Juniors, on the ground of the latter—T. Moore, S. Johnston. W. Palmer, C Barter (Captain), B. Jewell, C Williams, A- HaseD, H. Lawrence, J. Kirk, W. Cooper, C. Balfour; emergen——, B. Bunlop, W. Bailey. A conveyance leaves the Post-office at 1.45.
The foUowing will play for the Addington C.C. against the United C.C. on the United ground on Saturday -.—Ashby, Atkins—, A. Batten, T.Brown, Curtain, Caygill (Captain), Dunn, Forsyth, Kinsman, Biehards, and Hater; emergencies, A. and B. Prebble.
The following have been chosen to play for the Kaiapoi U.C, against Papanui CC. on Saturday next at Papanui:— Messrs Bradley, Christmas, Hudson, Judeon. Neeve, Perston, Parker, Boll—son, Smith, Wheat—y, Wright (Captain); emergencies, Messrs BlackwelL G. Pearce, and Saber. Conveyance to leave Ka_pot at one o'clock gfaarp.
