RIFLE ASSOCIATION.

In answer to a'query, it was stated that Colonel Lean would be anxious to promote such an Association. . -; Mr Lhkß said the regulations proposed to'be shot under were those of the New Zealand Bine Association, which were founded on the National Association rules, and gave the particulars. The Bifle Clubs had agreed to form an Association; and it was with the hope of -getting the Volunteers to join the Association, that the present meeting had been called. Moved by Mr Hac - vobth, and seconded by Mr Lass—"That a Committee, consisting of one member from each Bifle Club in the province be appointed."
