Sib,—ln reference to the Sumner road accident reported in jour colnmna this morning, kindly permit a question to be asked. .While & casual ward exists for just sneh demands here in oar midst, and maintained at considerable cost, having a nune is attendance and with superior ekilled surgeons also in Lyttelton, why is it necessary to transport a sufferer sack a distance as from here to Christchurch?
