The pens for tat were well filled, many ot the lines on offer being of excellent quality Although there was a large attendance of buyers, the sale was a dull and dragging one throughout, with little or no competition except for one or two lines of extra good quality, notably a consignment of Acton sheep, undoubtedly the best lot we have seen in tte yards for many months. A. small pea of very heavy prime quality crossbred wethers made 17s; prime crossbred wethers 14s 6d, 14594, to 15s 9d; prime medium, 13a 6d to 14a; light weights, 13s; mixed sexes, 12s S>d to 13s Sd; one extra lot, 15s; fat crossbred ewes, heavy weights, 13s, 12s Sd, 12s 9d, and Hs; medium weights, 10s 9d to lis 9d; light weights 10s 3d; merino wethers, 7s €d to 9s, the Acton sheep already referred to making 14s 6d and lie 3d. We quote mutton at from ifd to 2Jd per lb. Fat lambs ware in lixge supply, aad of oxceUent quality, Belling freely At from 9s, 10s. 10s Cd, and 13b 3d for very prime. A large entry of store sheep, with a fair demand at prices decidedly lower than they were a month ago. One or two large lines went out unsold, vendors not being satisfied with the prices sow offering. - Two-tooth crossbred wethers in good condition made 12a 6.1; two4ooth do from lis wp to 12a 6&; a line ot good young crossbred ewes, with large percentage of lambs, 16s Sd; crossbred two-tooth mixed sexes, lis to l's 3d; merino wethers, Ss lid to Te, according to mouths and condition. In the store pens there was a amaD supply. and not much business was transacted, young cattle being most enquired for. Only 74 pigs were panned, and all sold readily at full rates.
