Wheat—As noted above, this cereal shows _ firmer feeling, although no actual advance i_ values can be reported. Sound milling ia quoted at 3s ld to Ss 3d; Tuscan at 3s 4d, tja.b. Damaged lots are moving off very _towly, and the stocks in store are still very large. • Oats—Continue quiet. Prime milling are _a short supply at 2s 3d to 2s 4d; stout feed, _» ld to —> 3d; discolored and inferior -crange f rom Is 9d to —i, f .o.b. Barley—Choice Nelson malting meets writ—, a good enquiry at 4s Id to 43 3d, devered; medium qualities are slow of sale *c3s3dto3s6d; feed from 2s upwards. Pease—Blue Prussians, 3s to 3s 3d, '- "£—.b» - Beans are dull, and difficult to quit at _56dt03310d,f.0.b. Grafts Seed—Bye grass is in good demand _$ 3s 9d to 4s for prime well cleaned •aample— Inferior ranges from 2s 9d upW7_r_}, according to condition. Cocksfoot, good heavy seed is quoted at 4d to 4£d; in--**_or,2£dto3£d. Pot-toes are firmer, and are quoted at *S7a 6d to 30s at country stations, with a *__c business passing. Daiiy Produce—B-tteris withoutctiange, _nd may be quoted at Bdto 9d. Cheese is jr. shade weaker at 41 to 4id.
