As aheavy encumbrance had to be paid off, registration was necessarily deferred until the eve of the sale, which gave rise to doubts upon title, such doubts had, however, no foundation. Fresh butter and eggs were both quite neeleeted. At to-day's sale the fowls brought 4s per pair j coops of fowls and ducks, equal number of each, were sold at 4s fid par pair; cherries, lOd per lb; gooseberries, 2fd per quart. Grain—* Wheat, no movement to report in this market, transactions apparently being quite at a standstill for au descriptions; nominal quotation for prime milling must be reduced to 4s 6d; medium and inferior. 4s to 43 3d .z fowls' feed, 2s 6d to Ss 9d per bushel. Oats—Holders continue firm in their limits in the expectation of a more active demand, butr in the absence of inquiry m the meantime there ia little dome.
