FIRE IN DUNEDIN.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION TXUMBAtt.J DUNEDIN, November-?. ' ■■' A firie this morning broke out in 'Stafford street, in an old building fotratfly Cobb and Co.'s stables, now Mr Cable's produce depot.' It spread to the bottling stores cfi . Hargan and Co,, which business waa recently taken over by Esther and Low, who state that they had £4000 worth of stock on the premises,of which a considerable ' quantity was damaged. The buildings ,- -. belonged to the Hon. W. H. Reynolds. T&r insurances' Hargan's stock, South British £1000, ci which £260 was no- .. insured with the Fire Insurance Association and £200 with the Phoenix; Scottish I Imperial £400 i on Cable's stook, Union £420; on the building, United £350* London and Lancashire itlfiO," Norwich JE100; the total tagurances therefore «a» £2420. The fire is believed to have been. purely accidental.
