This match wae plajed on Saturday last, and being only a one day 'c match, was decided on the firat innings in favor of the Ohrietchurch Olub by 14 rune. Only seven of the 0.0.0. men turned up, and they had to play the match with one man ehort. In the batting, Tomer showed the best form, obtaining 17 and 18 not ont. Oaygill and Foreyth also playing well for 11 and 10 not out respectively. Wagstaff mc most successful in the bowling, getting six wickets for 13 rune. The scores were :—Addington, 63; Bohemians, 45. The match between the Press CO. and the Sydenham CO. was played on Baturday on the ground of the latter. The Press was under the disadvantage of playing two men short. The result was a decided victory for the Sydenham by 78 runs on the first innings. For the Sydenham C.C., Bound made 23, Fisher 23, Mataon 17 and Chambers 12. Grey was the only one to reach double figures for the Press, making 10. A match was played on Saturday last between the St. Andrew's and Addington Cricket Clubs, and resulted in an eaey victory for St. Andrew's by six wickets on the first innings. The scores were : —Addington, 92, and St. Andrew's, 94, with the lobb of four •wickets. For Addington: Hooper, 18; Olarkeon, 13; and Wells, 10. For St. Andrew's : W. Ogior, 42 (not out), played a very good innings for hie score; W. Napier, 10 (not out) ; Atkinson, 15; and Cusack, 16, were the chief scorers. For Addington, Hooper bowled well, and J. Atkinson bowled eplendidly, taking no Less than nine wickets for St. Andrew's.

A match was played on Saturday between elevens of the Avonville and Kaiapoi Clubs on the ground of the latter. The match was over in the afternoon early, and resulted in an easy win for the visitors by several wickets. The ground was in a very dusty state, and hardly fit for a match.
