HOSPITAL ENQUIRY.

The official enquiry before Dr. Skae, concerning the Ohristchurch Hoepital, was reeumed at three o'clock yesterday afternoon, there being present—Dr. Skae (Commissioner) Drs. Nedwill, Prine, Townend, Campbell Irvine, Daviee, and Tarnbnll. Dr. Campbell enquired -whether the representative of the Board of Health would be allowed to call fresh evidence for the proeeoution in regard to Mary Keetley's death, after the other side had opened their case ? Dr. Skae was not prepared to say whether he would or would not allow such a coarse of procedure. It wae resolved to investigate the case of McLaren next. Mr 9 Peter Grant was called to give evidence, bat did not appear. Df. Nedwill said her evidence was so material that he could not proceed without D/. Campbell complained of the delay which was taking place, and remarked that it was b. source of great inconvenience to the private praotioners who had to be present and he strongly protested against it;. The Hospital staff were ready with their caee and had the witnesses together, but Dr ■NedwiU appeared to have got hb case up in the room instead of at home. Dr. Skae atated Shut De.
