WEUQnra-TON - , August 30. It wae currently stated in the lobbies this morning that Mr Vincent Pyie Intended to take proceedings against the Sergeant-at-Arms ■ for assault, in removing him from the gallery on Saturday morning. She suit would have been a friendly one so far as it relates to the Sergeant-at-Arms, and was merely meant to test the power of the Speaker is ordering the removal of the me.mbei* for the Dnnetan while he was committing no disturbance. I have since learnt that Mr Fyke, acting upon legal advieo, does not intend to proceed against, the Sergeant-at-Arms, but prefers to let the matter rest where it is. All graduates of the university, Fellows of the Senate, professors, and all public leetnren or teachers and examiner* of the university and colleges or institutions affiliated to the university, shall be entitled to vote in person and by proxy at the election of snob, member.
