The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Thursday, June 10th, were as follows :— Spirits, -165 18s ; tobacco, -287 7s; wine, —20 7s; goods by weight, —28 Us 4d; ad valorem, £46 3s 7d; total, -548 6s lid.
At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, held at Christchnrch on Thursday, June 10th, sales were made as follows: —Ordinary--Ashley, Ba. 2r.; Akaroa, sa. 2r. 20p.; Selwyn, 11a. Under Publio Works Sale Acts—lmmediate payment, 126 a. 3r. 6p.; do., deferred.payments, 226 a. lr. 4p. Under Village Settlement Act—2a. Total, 380 a. Or. 30p., producing —474 3s 4d. Refunds to the amount of —31 3s 9d were made on account of former purchases.
