The barque Wild Wave was to leave Hobart Towa oa the sth inst., with a fall cargo of timber, palings, shingles, fruit, and jams, consigned to W.H. Hargreaves. Watermen and ballast lightermen are notified that applications for licenses mast be in at the Beard's offices before the 16th instant.

The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Wanaka leaves here to-day for Wellington and other ports. The Dounne Castle is announced to sail for the United Kingdom this month, and has accommodation for a few saloon passengers, at terms to be known at Messrs. Cunningham and Co.'s, her agents. The master of the Dounne Castle gives notice that he will be responsible only for such debts as are contracted upon his written authority.
