LONDON, June 9,
The match between the Australians and Eighteen of Malton, in Yorkshire, was resHmed to-day, when the home team continued their second innings which was stopped yesterday owing to the inclemency of the weather. They were all disposed of for 95 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, haying 87 runs to make to win. They won the match by four wickets.

It is announced that Sir Bartle Frere's salary as High Commissioner at the Cape has been stopped. This is said to be not owing to the objection of the Liberal party to Sir Bartle's continuance in office* but to the fact of the cessation of his duties as High Commissioner. CONSTANTINOPLE, June 9. The Grand Vizier and Said Pasha, Minister for Foreign Affairs, have resigned. Kaddri Pasha, Minister of Commerce, has been appointed President of the Council , * of Ministera, and Abbeddin Pasha has been appointed Minister for Foreign Affairs, with the rank of Grand Vizier.
