Batobi>ay, Afshi 26. ("Before H. B. Webb, J. T. Bouse, and H. Allwright, Esqs., J.P.'s.] Thb Beitish Hotki LiOKKas. — The holder of the license of this house, Mrs S. DeCosta, having on Friday withdrawn the application made to transfer the license to the purchaser of the place, Mr Thomas Graham, Mr H. K. Nalder, on behalf of Mr Graham, applied to the Court on Saturday morning to have a license granted to Mr Graham, as provided by section 3 of the Canterbury Public House Ordinance, 1867. The Bench granted the license.
