"The following cable -messaße. dated March 27th. has been received by the "Sew Zealand Loan Kid Mercantile Agency Company from London: — Wool.—The sales closed firmly; 28,000 bales havo been held over for future disposal; 180,000 bates have been taken for export. The sales closed at an average decline of ii to Id per lb. on last, sale prices. The principal decline has been in lambs, crossbred, superior greasy, superior combing and clothing', washed. Wheat.—Market quiet. Adelaide; 49. per 4961b5.; Hew Zealand, 47s per 4961b3. Tallow. —Market fiat. Mutton is worth 35s per cwt.; beef is worth 33s 6d per cwt.
Leather. —Trade demand is good. Best sides, -id.
