Taranaki fresh butter, of which a good deal is being received, Is 2d to Is 8d; oorned butter, la Ofcd; eggs, bnying price. Is 6d; Auckland oheese, 7d to 8d; Canterbury cheese 7d to Sid; Auckland bacon very scarce, 5d to 7id nominal; Canterbury hams and bacon, cloth; prime, scarce, Bidj hams in cloth, lid; bacon, bare, 7d to /id; potatoes, coming in slowly, and the bnying pries delivered is £510s; onions worth lid; hides quoted at. from 2Jd to 3rd; pelts.
