Mails dose at the Chief Poet OSoa tor the following places as under, subject to the necessary \lteratiO-S :— TUESDAY, JANUARY 21. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Bingarooma, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; late letterbox, guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 22. For Chatham Islands, per Island LiljP, at 11 a.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, will close at Christchurch ou January 31st, and will be due in London on March 18th. The next mail for the United Kingdom via Southampton aud Brindisi will close at Christ, church on February 12th. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on April 7th, and the mail via Southampton on April 14th.
